Privacy, Terms, and Accessibility

Privacy policy

Sandman Shop collects the email address and account identifier needed for authentication; listing, cart, purchase, review, and message information you choose to provide; and ordinary security logs such as request time, error category, and network information used to prevent abuse. We do not store your password. Firebase Authentication processes and protects account credentials.

Public listings, listing images, seller identifiers, and reviews are visible to other visitors. Do not include private information in listing images, descriptions, reviews, or messages.

Cart contents are stored in your browser's local storage so they can survive a refresh. Account, listing, order, review, and message records are stored in MongoDB. Listing images are stored in Firebase Storage. The website is delivered by Vercel, and backend requests run through Firebase Functions and Google Cloud Run.

The current application does not intentionally include advertising or behavioral-analytics SDKs.

Your choices

You may sign out at any time. A signed-in user can choose Delete account from the account menu. Account deletion removes the user's active listings, listing images, messages, reviews, buyer purchase records, and Firebase account. Some de-identified transaction details may remain where needed to preserve another user's purchase history or meet legal obligations.

For privacy or support requests, email support@sandman.shop. Do not email passwords, payment details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.

Basic terms

Users must provide lawful, accurate listings and may not upload malicious, infringing, deceptive, or private material. Automated abuse, unauthorized access, review manipulation, and attempts to bypass account, ownership, upload, or rate-limit controls are prohibited.

The current checkout records marketplace activity but is not a production payment processor. Payment-card information must never be entered into listing, review, message, or support fields.

Accessibility statement

Sandman Shop aims to support keyboard navigation, visible focus, meaningful labels, alternative text, responsive layouts, and assistive technologies. If a feature creates an accessibility barrier, contact support@sandman.shop and identify the page, device, browser, and problem encountered.
